Snow at Mount Boyce Lookout

Snow at Mount Boyce, near Blackheath and a couple of hundred meters North of the Weather Station, in the Blue Mountains of NSW. The picture taken around 9:30 am following overnight snow. The temperature at the time was about 3 degrees (37 deg F), after staying between -2 and zero degrees for most of the night (28 to 32). This view is looking SW towards the Great Dividing Range. Snow is visible on the distant hills. The location is about 1,080 meters above sea level while the distant hills are over 1,200 metres in places.
