Children tending to the garden at Ban Ban Springs State School, near Maryborough, in 1919. Some boys are tilling the soil with hoes and other garden tools, while the young girls at the front appear to be sowing seeds and picking flowers.
Ban Ban Springs School reborn as the "Honey House" - The school building was removed to Goomeri State School in approx 1966 and is still in the grounds today. It was used by the grade 6&7 as a" Honey House"for the Bee Keeping Club under the direction of teacher Hugh Brown (from the note contributed by Janette on 04-Feb-2009)
