Narromine is located on the Mitchell Highway in central New South Wales a distance of about 330km west-northwest from Sydney (show me). With a population of around 3,500, Narromine is a medium sized town for Australia. Narromine is at an altitude of approximately 241m. The nearest sea is the Tasman Sea which is part of the South Pacific Ocean about 310km east-southeast of Narromine.

Narromine is on the Macquarie River.
