Accident Hut is a hut on the Accident Creek in west Queensland. Its closest capital city is actually Darwin (show me) in the Northern Territory about 1040km to the northwest (the capital of Queensland is Brisbane (show me), about 1810km away to the southeast of Accident Hut). Accident Hut is about 58m above sea level. Accident Hut is one of the westernmost huts in Queensland. The nearest sea is the Arafura Sea which is part of the Indian Ocean about 110km northeast of Accident Hut.

The nearest more populous place is the town of Doomadgee which is 32km away with a population of around 1,100 (show me a map with Accident Hut and Doomadgee).
