Balma just off the Old Jim Jim Road in the Northern Territory is a locality about 180km east-southeast of Darwin (show me). Balma is at an altitude of approximately 43m.

Balma is located within the Kakadu National Park. There are 42 other localities within the Kakadu National Park: Ankarrkarrkarrmi, Arnhem Land Plateau, Bekluk, Bowali Visitor Centre, Bukardi, Bukbukluk Lookout, Burdulba, Cahills Crossing, Cairncurry Plain, Callanan Claypan, Culaly Plain, Deaf Adder (Golondjorr), Djenjdjedmi, Djuwarr, Gagudju Crocodile Hotel, Gunberdel, Gunbumbuk (Black Jungle Range), Gungurul Lookout, Gurrwirluk, Ikoymarrwa Lookout, Jim Jim Ranger Station, Kakadu Resort, Kambolgie, Malabanjbanjdju, Mamukala, Manassie Floodplain, Marnanj (Magela Plain), Marndoki, Marrawal, Muril, Nadjikluk (Fisher Head), Namarrgon Gorge, Nanjbagu (Boggy Plain), Naramu Camp, Nidenbam, Nourlangie Rock, Sandy Billabong, Sleisbeck (Jenwunay), Ubirr, Warradjan Aboriginal Cultural Centre, Yinangankarrh and Yurmikmik.

The nearest more populous place is the village of Gagudju Cooinda Lodge which is 12km away with a population of around 440 (show me a map with Balma and Gagudju Cooinda Lodge).
