Hall is located just off the Barton Highway in the north of the Australian Capital Territory a distance of 13km north-northwest from Canberra (show me). Hall has a population of around 350 and is one of the smaller towns in Australia. At about 646m above sea level, Hall is one of the higher villages in the Australian Capital Territory. The nearest sea is the Tasman Sea which is part of the South Pacific Ocean about 120km east-southeast of Hall.

The nearest more populous place is the city of Canberra which is 13km away with a population of about 310,000 (show me a map with Hall and Canberra).

Hall is in the second most popular region in the Australian Capital Territory with overseas tourists.
