The oldest marked grave in the Hall Cemetery dates back to 9 June 1907 and is for Bessie Lillie Shumack aged 3 months.

The Hall Cemetery is an island of original woodland now surrounded by cleared farmland. As such it serves as a haven for some rare and uncommon plants. Special care is taken by the ACT Public Cemeteries Trust to ensure the continued survival of these plants and the fauna they attract.
