The Svengali Mine was an antimony, copper, silver and zinc mine (now abandoned).1

You'll find the Svengali Mine on the Ring River nestled amongst mountains such as Carbine Hill (687m), Mount Read (1116m), Commonwealth Hill (668m), Black Hill (665m), Mount Dundas (1094m), Gooseneck Hill (943m) and Mount Julia (824m) in west Tasmania. The Svengali Mine is about 190km northwest of Hobart (show me). The Svengali Mine is at an altitude of approximately 427m. The Svengali Mine is one of the westernmost mines in Tasmania.
