Fortitude Valley is a suburb of northeast Brisbane in southeast Queensland and has a population of around 5,100 (56.6% male, 43.4% female). Around 782 families live in the area and of those 12.4% have one or more children under the age of 15. 7.3% of families have only a single parent while 70.3% of couples have no children. Fortitude Valley covers an area of approximately 132 hectares (326 acres).
