Coogee is a suburb of south-southwest Perth in southwest Western Australia and has a population of around 4,300 (50.8% male, 49.2% female). Around 1201 families live in the area and of those 38.7% have one or more children under the age of 15. 8.1% of families have only a single parent while 38.2% of couples have no children. Coogee covers an area of approximately 701 hectares (1731 acres).
