Coogee is a suburb of southeast Sydney in east New South Wales and has a population of around 13,000 (48.2% male, 51.8% female). Around 3029 families live in the area and of those 30.1% have one or more children under the age of 15. 10.9% of families have only a single parent while 50.7% of couples have no children. Coogee covers an area of approximately 191 hectares (472 acres).
