Collingwood is a suburb of east-northeast Melbourne in south Victoria and has a population of around 5,500 (49.9% male, 50.1% female). Around 1180 families live in the area and of those 32.7% have one or more children under the age of 15. 23.1% of families have only a single parent while 48.6% of couples have no children. Collingwood covers an area of approximately 129 hectares (319 acres).
