Burnley is a suburb of east-southeast Melbourne in south Victoria and has a population of around 710 (51.5% male, 48.5% female). Around 160 families live in the area and of those 21.3% have one or more children under the age of 15. 13.8% of families have only a single parent while 61.3% of couples have no children. Burnley covers an area of approximately 112 hectares (276 acres).
