Ascot is a suburb of northeast Brisbane in southeast Queensland and has a population of around 5,300 (46.4% male, 53.6% female). Around 1217 families live in the area and of those 35.2% have one or more children under the age of 15. 13.6% of families have only a single parent while 42.0% of couples have no children. Ascot covers an area of approximately 262 hectares (647 acres).
