You'll find the town of Queenstown just off the Lyell Highway in Tasmania about 170km west-northwest of Hobart (show me). Queenstown is near the Southern Ocean. Queenstown has a population of around 2,400 and is a medium sized town for Australia. Queenstown is at an altitude of about 146m above sea level. Queenstown is one of the westernmost towns in Tasmania.

Queenstown is on the Queen River.

The nearest more populous place is the town of Ulverstone which is 110km away with a population of around 9,500 (show me a map with Queenstown and Ulverstone).
