Jindare is a homestead on the Stray Creek in the northwest of the Northern Territory, Australia situated about 190km south-southeast of Darwin (show me). Jindare is at an elevation of approximately 96m above sea level. The nearest sea is the Timor Sea which is part of the Indian Ocean about 160km west-northwest of Jindare.

The nearest more populous place is the village of Pine Creek which is 32km away with a population of around 470 (show me a map with Jindare and Pine Creek).
