The Carron River in west Queensland starts at an elevation of 134m and ends at an elevation of 2.22m merging with the Norman River.
The Carron River drops around 132m over its 255km length.
The Carron River flows through Rope Hole (10m) on its way to joining the Norman River.
The following creeks and rivers flow into the Carron River: Rocky Creek, Foote Creek, Tabletop Creek, Ten Mile Creek and Telephone Creek.
