River Clyde in central Tasmania starts near Interlaken at an elevation of 817m and ends at an elevation of 72.7m flowing into the River Derwent.

The River Clyde drops around 744m over its 97.3km length.

The River Clyde flows through Lake Crescent (806m) and flows into Meadowbank Lake (77m) on its way to joining the River Derwent.

9 creeks and rivers flow into the River Clyde. The five longest tributaries are: Dew Rivulet, Black Snake Creek, Bryans Creek, Bark Hut Creek and Langdons Creek - click here for a full list of all 9 tributaries of the River Clyde.
