West Wyalong is a town on the Newell Highway-Mid Western Highway in central New South Wales situated about 230km northwest of Canberra (show me) (the nearest capital city). Sydney (show me), the capital of New South Wales, is about 370km east of West Wyalong. With a population of around 3,300, West Wyalong is a medium sized town for Australia. West Wyalong is at an altitude of about 261m above sea level. The nearest sea is the Tasman Sea which is part of the South Pacific Ocean about 330km southeast of West Wyalong.
