You'll find Upper Jamieson Hut on the banks of the Jamieson River North Branch nestled amongst mountains such as Mount Darling (1194m), Mount McDonald (1603m), The Governor (1428m), The Bluff (1714m) and Mount Eadley Stoney (1661m) in central Victoria. Upper Jamieson Hut is about 140km east-northeast of Melbourne (show me). At about 778m above sea level, Upper Jamieson Hut is one of the higher huts in Victoria. The nearest sea is the Tasman Sea which is part of the South Pacific Ocean about 130km southeast of Upper Jamieson Hut.
