Twenty Kms from Melbourne on the Calder Freeway is the Organ Pipes National Park. The 'organ pipe' hexagonal formations exist deep in the hill behind, evident from protrusions clearly visible. The tops of formations are also evident further up the stream forming what is known as the 'tessellated pavement'.
