Birds of Tasmania - #1 - Hobart Region by 'cougar15' (contact cougar15 about this story)
I recently visited Tasmania where I had planned to photograph as many of that State's 12 endemic bird species as possible.
These endemics are - Black Currawong, Black-headed, Strong-billed / Yellow-throated Honeyeater, Tasmanian Native-hen, Forty-spotted Pardalote, Dusky Robin, Green Rosella, Tasmanian Scrubtit, Scrubwren and Thornbill and Yellow Wattlebird.

The final leg of our Tasmanian holiday was to drive from Cradle Mountain to Georgetown, via Stanley, and to use our pre-booked 3 night's accommodation at the Low Head Tourist Park as a base to visit as many nearby areas as possible.
If anything, I guess we tried to do too much the first day and should ... read story
