Horse team pulling a wagonload of sawn timber in front of the Imbil sawmill in Queensland, around 1920. The mill was built by Lutton and Meyers and for most of its operational period was owned by J. W. Lutton & Sons. John Wesley (Jack) Lutton was the principal.
There were several bullock and horse teams hauling from the forest to the mill. Christian Kropp owned bullock teams and Robert G. Stehbens owned a horse team which hauled timber from the mill to the railway station. R. G. Stehbens began working for Lutton's Mill in 1919 and had previously used his horse team at Monsildale, taking timber from the forest to the mill. (Description supplied with photograph)
