They remained in Australia and settled at Dural where they built their family home in 1856. The last family member died in 2002 having sold the property to the Hills Shire Council for $1 to be maintained as a history of colonial life. If so, Report it |  | 2 - Dural (Contributed by: DerrickJessop 3147 pictures ) The home is a traditional four rooms with central passage and kitchen and additional lean-to rooms on the back.Two small rooms up narrow stairs were children's bedrooms. It is furnished with genuine period furnishings.
