Kalaru is a coastal village on the Bega Tathra Road in southeast New South Wales. With a population of around 270, Kalaru is one of the smaller towns in Australia. Kalaru is at an altitude of about 21m above sea level. Kalaru is one of the southernmost villages in New South Wales.
