Andamooka is located on the banks of the Opal Creek in east South Australia a distance of about 510km north-northwest from Adelaide (show me). With a population of around 500, Andamooka is one of the smaller towns in Australia. Andamooka is at an altitude of approximately 95m. Andamooka is one of the northernmost villages in South Australia. The nearest ocean is the Southern Ocean about 230km south-southeast of Andamooka.
