The Queensland National Bank building at Mareeba, built by Marcus and Frances Brims. Marcus and Frances were part of the 'Sons' in D. G. Brims & Sons, Sash & Door Factory, also seen in this image, and the sons of early Queensland photographer Harriett Brims. Next to the Sash & Door factory is the premises of A. Brims, licensed plumber.

Men are unloading what appear to be coffins from a wagon being pulled by a bullock team in front of D. G. Brims & Sons' Sash & Door Factory and General Joinery Works at Mareeba. Coffin making was a sideline business for the joinery works. They are watched by two men, and a group of children playing on a barrow.
