Gundaroo is a village on the Sutton Road in southeast New South Wales. Its closest capital city is actually Canberra (show me) in the Australian Capital Territory 30km to the south-southwest (the capital of New South Wales is Sydney (show me), about 220km away to the northeast of Gundaroo). Gundaroo has a population of around 240 and is one of the smaller towns in Australia. Gundaroo is about 577m above sea level. The nearest sea is the Tasman Sea which is part of the South Pacific Ocean about 110km southeast of Gundaroo.

Gundaroo is on the Yass River.

The nearest more populous place is the village of Sutton which is 15km away with a population of around 260 (show me a map with Gundaroo and Sutton).

Gundaroo is on the intersection of the Sutton Road and the Gundaroo Road.
