The Jump Up Loop Road traverses the Eastern section of the Sturt National Park West of the Silver City Highway, North of Tibooburra. The Park has taken over 6 former pastoral leases. This is all that is left of the 85,920 acres King Station. The iron water tank on the hill and left overs from the machinery shed are all else that is left. The 'Jump Ups' are formed when hard silcrete surfaces are undermined and the face erodes away to form gibber plains.
