McDermott family with navvies leaving Dickabram after construction of the Kilkivan branch line. ‘McDermott Owen & Co’ were contracted to build the Dickabram Bridge crossing the Mary River circa 1886 and a rail bridge at Woolooga over Wide Bay Creek, completed in 1884.
