The Tarra Valley Road follows the winding Tarra River and offers stunning forest views and quiet picnic and camping sites. The Valley was named after Charlie Tarra, Strzelecki's Aboriginal guide, when he and his party were the first to cut their way through what are now the Strzelecki Ranges to Western Port.
