Wreck of the Paddle Steamer Wagga Wagga on the Murrumbidgee River near Narrandera NSW exposed as a result of low river levels during the 2007 drought.
P.S. Wagga Wagga official number 74946 was built in 1877 at Corella Creek Murray River N.S.W. 68 feet long and 16 feet wide. Side Paddle configuration. Last owner James Roach. In 1918 P.S.Wagga Wagga started to leak at Roach's Mill Wharf, Narrandera. It was floated down stream downstream and sunk. Wreck is usually submerge and not visible during normal river levels.
