Gympie Ambulance Centre at Crown Road, Gympie, ca. 1926

The image shows Gympie Ambulance Centre with its cars and drivers, at Crown Road, with the Superintendent's residence on the right. Queensland Ambulance Transport Brigade in Gympie was established in September, 1902. At first it was situated at the fire brigade station, but in April 1904 the new building was built and the Ambulance Brigade moved there.
