Armistice Day procession at the Canungra Sportsgound, 1918

A sports carnival was held in Canungra on the Sport ground as early as 1904. Around 1912 football goal posts were erected. A concrete cricket pitch laid and a shed for storing the sporting equipment was built. This photograph is of the Armistice Day procession.(Description supplied with photograph.)
