    This relic is just about all that remains of a once very active Glider Club just to the north west of Newman, this Pontiac Parisienne was used to pull the glider(s) along the runway until they gained altitude and released the cable.

    The Glider Club ruins and this old Pontiac are just all that's left of a once record setting club in the Pilbara.
