Landsborough Highway-Kennedy Developmental Road

The gorge lookout gives a good indication of the underlying strata the road is on. Once the overlying basalt is broken varying layers of mudstone, conglomerate, dark and white sandstone down to conglomerate deposited by glaciers and under that schists and gneiss can be seen. This view is looking North.
