Gorden & Vera Taylor's home at 134 Gilmore Rd in 1964, the Austin A40 belonged to their son Barry and one of the Taylor boys is repairing a push bike. The small western paddock has been ploughed ready for planting and Gilmore Road can be seen in the top right corner of the photograph.
After heavy rain periods you could put your ear to the ground in the ploughed area and hear the roar of the underground river.
